Senior Night Sweep For Men's Volleyball

The Wells College men's volleyball team honored its seniors, won another North Eastern Athletic Conference match, and ran its win streak to six matches with a three-set win over Saint Elizabeth on Friday, April 5 at the Schwartz Athletic Center. Set scores were 25-13, 25-19, 25-9.

The Wells men's volleyball seniors are Antonio D'Arpino, Liam Kaylor, and Ryan Turner. Antonio D'Arpino, from Auburn, N.Y., is in his first year with the men's volleyball team. He is majoring in health sciences with a minor in business. Liam Kaylor, from Washington, D.C., is a four-year member of the program and is majoring in biology. Ryan Turner, from Liverpool, N.Y., is a four-year member of the team and was an all-conference selection as a sophomore.

Wells had a .414 hitting percentage in the match with 40 kills and 11 errors. In the third set, Wells had 14 kills and one error on 19 attempts for a .684 percentage. Liam Kaylor led the Express with 14 kills in the match, including seven in the second set. Saint Elizabeth had 16 kills and 18 errors.

Josh Undari had 16 assists and Cooper Colesante had 13 assists. Ryan Turner had seven kills. Robert Patzer had six digs, two service aces and four kills. Caden O'Loughlin had six kills and one block assist. D'Arpino had three assists and five digs.

Wells is 24-8 overall and 6-3 in the NEAC. The final match of the regular season is Saturday, April 6 at 2 p.m. at home against SUNY Poly.
