EXPRESS DROP ROAD GAME VERSUS PENN STATE-ALTOONA, THORNTON HAS RECORD NIGHT
Wells College battled with AMCC opponent Penn State Altoona, despite having a limited number of players available Saturday in a road loss. First year forward Trinity Thornton had a stand out night with 30 points and 6 rebounds off of very efficient shooting. The forward shot just over 40% from the floor and was 4-12 from the arc, with the number of 3 pointers made putting her in a tie for 10th all time in made 3 point field goals made. Thornton also was 13-32 from the floor which ties her for ninth for amount of FGs made.
The Express had a strong second half, scoring their 22 of 34 points after the break. Sophomore Moran Brown cleaned up the glass with 12 rebounds.
Women's Basketball will be on the road next at Alfred State on Wednesday, January 31st.
