On Friday night, the Wells College Express women's basketball team continued their non-conference schedule by visiting Houghton College. Houghton knocked off the Express, 94-25.
The Express was outshot on the road by 36%. to 20%. Although they grabbed 33 rebounds, Houghton College grabbed more than double that which helped them build their lead. Unfortunately, the Express had 35 turnovers.
Once again Ai Orita leads the Express in scoring with 9 points and 4 rebounds. Lydia Thomas also had 8 points with a block and assist.
Women's basketball will be back in action tomorrow afternoon at Elmira College.
