Women's Basketball Falls At Home To The Broncos

On Tuesday night, the Wells College women's basketball team hosted the SUNY Delhi Broncos for a non-conference match-up. The Broncos would win this one 66-24. 

The Broncos would outshoot the Express on the night 41% to 16%. The Broncos would hit over 30% of their three-point shows but the Express would go 0-3 for the night from behind the arch. A big help to the Broncos was their points off turnovers, they had 22 to the Express 4.  Delhi would take a 30-9 lead into halftime. 

For Wells College, Sydney Bateman and Ai Orita would do the majority of the scoring with 7 points each. Morgan Adams was able to wrangle in 11 rebounds and swat 2 blocks. Ai Orita also had 3 steals on the night. 

Women's basketball will be back in action this Saturday at Penn State Berks.
