Wells Men's Basketball Falls At SUNY Poly

The Wells College men's basketball team lost 84-65 at SUNY Poly on Wednesday, Jan. 16. Four Wells players scored in double figures.

SUNY Poly used a 15-3 run early in the first half to take a 12-point lead at 19-7. The Wildcats led 41-27 at halftime and maintained a double-digit lead for most of the second half.

One game after one of the best 3-point shooting efforts by the team in program history, Wells was 2-for-14 from behind the arc in Wednesday's game at SUNY Poly.

Rich Ross had 20 points and three assists for the Express. Ty McBride scored 15 points. Jalen Tribble had 13 points, eight rebounds, and three steals. A.J. Nesci had 11 points.

Wells hosts Morrisville State at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 at the Schwartz Athletic Center.
