The Wells College men's basketball team lost 79-76 to visiting Cazenovia College on Saturday, Feb. 4 at the Schwartz Athletic Center in Aurora, N.Y.
Cazenovia outscored Wells 48-32 in the second half to come from behind and earn the win in North Eastern Athletic Conference action. Wells is 13-7 overall and 10-3 in the NEAC. Cazenovia improved to 4-15 overall and 4-8 in the conference.
Four players scored in double figures for Wells, led by 20 points from Rich Ross. Chris Courtney scored 14 points, James Feocco had 13, and Vaughndell Brantley scored 11. Courtney was 8-for-8 from the free-throw line.
Wells returns to action Sunday at 2 p.m. against Morrisville State College.
