ALL FIVE STARTERS IN DOUBLE FIGURES IN EXPRESS BATTLE ON THE ROAD
A balance effort came up short Saturday afternoon as the Express fall in the final minutes to AMCC foe Penn State-Altoona. Leading the way for Wells was junior point guard Ransel Rodriguez, who was three assists shy of a triple double. Rodriguez finished with 22 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists including a strong night from the free throw line where he went 10-12. Also with a solid shooting night was first year player Chase Welch, who was 6-14 from the floor and tallied 15 points. The edge going to PSA who outscored the Express 40 to 30 off of points in the paint, which attributed to the 81-78 loss.
The Express are back on the road Wednesday, January 31st versus Alfred State.
