Wells College men's basketball hosted their first conference game of the season on Wednesday night against Pitt Bradford.
In a physical battle, the Express had to attempt to claw their way back into this one after falling behind by ten points early on. In a game where 58 fouls were called between the two teams, Wells was 24-33 from the free throw line. Terrance Clayton-Murphy had a game-high 34 points on 50% shooting while going 12-12 from the line. The Express were plagued by 17 turnovers while only assisting on 6 baskets. Pitt Bradford took down Wells at home, 99-70.
Up next, the Express will head to Carlow for their second conference match-up this Saturday.
