Women's Basketball Falls to Canton

On Tuesday night the SUNY Canton Roo's visited the Wells College Express for a non-conference match-up.

The last game for the Express was at Penn State Abington where they suffered a road loss. They hoped to secure their second win tonight against the Roo's.

Unfortunately for the Express, SUNY Canton's offense came out screaming as they jumped out to a 25-7 lead in the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Express could only muster 2 points and fell behind 56-9 going into halftime. 

In the second half, the Express battled on the defensive end but were not able to overcome the lead the visiting Roo's had built. The Express almost doubled their offensive output in the second half but ultimately fell at home to SUNY Canton by a score of 90-26.

Morgan Adams: 9pts, 14rbs

Women's basketball will be back in action this Friday as they host Penn State Harrisburg.
