Winter Basketball Day Camp Begins in One Month on Feb. 17 through Feb. 20

Join members of the Wells College basketball teams as they host a camp for boys and girls aged 7 to 17 that begins Monday, Feb. 17 through Thursday, Feb. 20 at the Schwartz Athletic Center on the campus of Wells College in Aurora, N.Y.

The four-day camp begins each day at 9 a.m. and runs through 3:30 p.m. The $175 cost of the camp includes a camp t-shirt, basketball and lunch each day to be served in our newly-renovated cafeteria.

Basketball players throughout upstate New York are invited to participate in an instructional camp and be introduced to Wells College basketball players, who will serve as counselors and mentors throughout the day. In addition, players will participate in station work and compete against other campers in multiple game sessions.

Camp director Joe Wojtylko is entering his 12th season as head coach of the Wells College men's basketball team. Since the inaugural season of the program in 2008-09, Wojtylko's squad has qualified for the NEAC postseason in all but four seasons and has made five appearances in the championship game during his tenure. Under his guidance, Wells became the fastest Division III program in history to reach 20 victories in a season in 2009-10. Prior to joining the Express, Wojtylko served as the Head Coach of Hobart College in Geneva, N.Y. and has also assisted squads at West Virginia Wesleyan College and Hamilton College.
