WOMEN'S BASKETBALL ANNOUNCES 2011-2012 SCHEDULE

AURORA, N.Y. - The Wells College Department of Athletics has announced the 2011-2012 women's basketball schedule. The schedule includes 12 home games and 13 away games. The Express open their season on Tuesday, Nov. 15 when they welcome Hilbert College to campus for a 6 p.m. tip-off.

On Friday, Nov. 18 the Express open up game one of the 2011 Oswego State Max Ziel Tournament against host Oswego State at 6 p.m. in Oswego, before taking part in either the consolation or championship game on Saturday.

The schedule also includes several non-conference opponents in the first half of the season including Utica College (Nov. 29), Alfred University (Nov. 30), and Hamilton College (Dec. 6).

The Express return for their second half of the season when they travel to take on Elmira College on Jan. 3 at 5 p.m. in Elmira. The Express then return for two home conference games on Jan 6 and 7 against Lancaster Bible College and Penn-St. Berks respectively before traveling to take on non-conference opponent SUNY Canton Jan. 11 at 2 p.m.

The Express close out their regular season with 14 straight NEAC games and will look to make their first appearance in the NEAC tournament set to begin on February 21.
