Wells College women's lacrosse hit the road for Mt Aloysius College on Saturday for another conference match-up.
The women were coming off a home win against MCLA and were hoping to make it two in a row.
This game did not start as well for the Express. they were down 8-2 after one-quarter of play. Clara Lima and Julia Barnwell both scored unassisted goals. Clara Lima scored a second unassisted goal in the second quarter but that would be the last goal scored in this game for Wells College. The Mt Aloysius offense was relentless getting off thirty-four shots on goal. In goal, Kayla Groth had thirteen saves and 5 ground balls, but the Mounties were tough to keep at bay. The Express fell 21-3.
Women's lacrosse will take on Waynesburg tomorrow at 2 PM.
