Between The Lines 4/9 - Aaron Izquierdo Recounts Huge Weekend Sweep
This week's edition of the weekly Express athletics interview with ESPN Ithaca will feature a segment from baseball team captain Aaron Izquierdo as he joins host Ryan Gineo to discuss the Express' huge sweep on Greensburg this past weekend, as well as their first journey into the heart of AMCC conference play.
The team has had a great start to the year, achieving a record of 14-8 overall (2-2 AMCC) as well as getting off to a hot start in conference when they swept Greensburg this past weekend. The Express rank very highly in the AMCC for many offensive categories.
All of the following are rankings within the AMCC:
1st in runs scored – 173
1st in hits – 212
1st in batting average - .315
1st in slugging % - .472
1st in stolen bases – 69 (school record)
