EXPRESS ROLL OVER PENN. ST. BERKS

The Wells College men's basketball team handed Penn. St. Berks their fourth straight loss cruising to a 85-69 victory over the Nittany Lions on Thursday night at Farenthold Field House in Aurora. Wells took the lead with 10 minutes remaining in the first half and never looked back going on to lead by as many as 22 points before finishing with the 16 point victory.

The Express had four players score in double figures led by freshmen Bryan Wight (Cazenovia, NY) with 19 points and six assist, and freshmen Matt Condy (Seaford, NY) who finished with 18 points, including four three-pointers.  Juan Paulino (Bronx, NY) finished with his ninth straight double-double on 13 points and 16 rebounds, while Tony Parker (Sodus, NY) added 14 points and nine rebounds.

The Nittany Lions were led by Jim Boyd who finished with 21 points, including 6-15 from beyond the arc.

With the win the Express improve to 8-9 on the season while the Nittany Lions fall to 2-12. Wells will next play D'Youville College at D'Youville on Saturday, January 24th. Tip-off is set for 1:00 pm.
