BULLOCK AND PAULINO SELECTED TO D3HOOPS.COM ALL-EAST REGION TEAM

Aurora, N.Y.– Seniors Darrell Bullock (Chicago, Ill./Olive Harvey C.C.) and Juan Paulino (Bronx, N.Y./Finger Lakes C.C.) of the Wells College men's basketball team have been selected to the D3Hoops.Com All-East Region Second Team announced on Tuesday. Winners of the award included players from Nazareth, SUNYIT, Hobart, Ithaca, Plattsburg State, and Oneonta State. The award recognizes the top ten players in each region across the country, with over 650 players nominated.

Bullock and Paulino helped led the Express to a 21-7 record, one of the most successful seasons in school history, and the North Eastern Athletic Conference Championship game.

Bullock, who was selected to the All-NEAC First Team, proved to be one of the top guards in the region leading the Express in points per game (19.0), assists (110/3.9 apg), and steals (57), while reaching the 1,000 point plateau in the Express' final game against SUNYIT in the conference championship.

Paulino, who was also selected to the All-NEAC First Team, led all of Division III in rebounds per game (16.5), and field goal percentage (.699), while averaging 17.1 points per game. Paulino finished the season with 24 double-doubles, including 17 straight to end the season.

D3Hoops.com is known nationally as the number one source for Division III hoops information. Players were nominated for these awards by the Sports Information Directors at various schools, who were contacted multiple times as the season wound down to remind them to make their players eligible. There were 676 players nominated nationwide, a new high. The ballot was then made available to SIDs, who voted for 10 players in their region. SIDs voted for six frontcourt players and four backcourt players, to ensure balance.
