Women’s Lacrosse To Play Houghton This Wednesday

HOUGHTON, N.Y. – The Wells College women's lacrosse team will face-off against the Highlanders of Houghton College on the road this Wednesday, Mar. 20 at Burke Field with a 7:30 p.m. start time. The two teams, originally scheduled to play on Saturday, Mar. 9, were forced to reschedule the contest after officials were unavailable for the start of the contest.

The Express, who fell to the Knights of Mount Saint Mary College by a 16-4 margin, are still seeking their first victory of the season while the Highlanders are off to an 0-3 start and have been outscored by a 46-to-5 cumulative margin. Houghton, in its first year of sponsoring women's lacrosse at the varsity level, fell to the Express in a scrimmage played in lieu of the Mar. 9 official game.
