Bass, Tucker Earn NEAC All-Conference Team Placement

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – Senior Madeline Bass (Lemon Grove, Calif.) and sophomore Savannah Tucker (Rochester, N.Y.) earned placement on North Eastern Athletic Conference All-Conference squads following their performance for the Wells College women's lacrosse team this past season. The Express posted a 6-9 overall record alongside a 4-5 mark in league play, missing out on their first postseason berth since 2011 by only a single victory.

Bass, who has earned First Team All-Conference honors as a freshman, sophomore and junior, captured Second Team All-Conference merits in her senior season while Tucker, a sophomore, earned Third Team All-Conference recognition for the first time in her career.

In 15 games as a senior for the Express, Bass led the team in point scoring with 53 points to her credit alongside a team-best 43 goals and 10 assists (43-10=53). Dating back to the 1986 women's lacrosse season at Wells, Bass' 53 points in one season is a career-high mark and one that places her 10th all-time in single-season totals. Within the conference, Bass ranked just outside the top-10 in point scoring, placing 11th amongst qualifying players.

For her career, Bass exits Wells ranked fourth all-time in points with 169 to her credit (125-44=169). Her 125 career goals ranks her sixth all-time while her 44 assists places her second all-time dating back to 1986. Her 142 career ground balls by any member of the Express dating back to 2009 while her 129 draw controls place her first during that same time frame. Her 60 caused turnovers are the most of any player since 2008 while her 62 career games played are second place all-time.

Tucker ranked second on the team with 38 cumulative points, forcing home 34 goals alongside four assists (34-4=38). Tucker led the team with 59 ground balls to her credit while scooping up 36 draw controls to place her third amongst her teammates. Her 22 caused turnovers also placed her first amongst the Express. Amongst conference opponents, Tucker ranked second overall with 59 ground balls while placing eighth with 22 caused turnovers. She also ranked within the top-20 in points, recording 38 on the year.

For her career, Tucker ranks 12th all-time with 62 points and 11th all-time with 52 goals. Additionally, she has made 32 appearances to rank her 16th all-time.
