Wells Express Athletes Of The Week 2/17

Congratulations to our Wells Express Athletes of the week Rowan Mayette and Terrance Clayton-Murphy!

Rowan was nominated by her head coach Trish George after her performance at the AMCC championships last week. She moved up to fifth place all-time in the 200-yard backstroke. Rowan improved in almost all of her events and finished the season on a high note for the Express! She is in her Junior year at Wells College and comes to us from Massena, NY.

Terrance was nominated by his head coach Joe Wojtylko this week after being named first-team all-conference in the United East for men's basketball. Clayton-Murphy, a junior transfer from Lexington Kentucky, had an outstanding season for the Express. He finished the regular season second in points per game (18.2), fourth in field goal percentage (.470), first in 3-point field goal percentage (.408), and first in made 3's per game (2.7).  Terrance appeared in twenty-four games for the Express this year, starting in twenty-three of them and there were only four games where he did not score in double figures.

Men's basketball will be in action this evening in a first-round playoff game at the Lancaster Bible Chargers.
