Thomas Captures AMCC Offensive Honors, 5th-Straight OPOTW Award for Express Women's Lacrosse
Lydia Thomas has secured the AMCC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week Award for the week of April 8th - April 15th. The awards marks Thomas' second time achieving the honor in this season alone. The award also marks the 5th-consecutive AMCC Women's Lacrosse OPOTW win for the Express as a whole, with the 4 previous honors all being awarded to Wells players.
Thomas has had a great year in what is to be her final season donning an Express uniform. The spectacular senior is all over the AMCC leaderboards, ranking 3rd in the conference for both goals and assists, with 33 and 18 respectively. The Colton, NY native has also inspired her teammates with great veteran leadership, elevating an outstanding offense that ranks 4th in Division III for goals per game with 18.18.
Thomas and the Express are on a tough road trip this week, matching up with Bryn Athyn, Hilbert, and Mount Aloysius as they look to remain unbeaten entering the final stretch of the regular season.
