On Saturday the Wells women's lacrosse team traveled to St Mary's College of Maryland for an afternoon match-up.
In the last game for the Express, they defeated Cedar Crest College by a score of 20-6 and hoped to continue their success today.
This game would not go as well for the Express. St Mary's built an 11 goal lead in the first quarter and never looked back. The defense of the St MAry's Seahawks kept the Express in check all afternoon not even allowing a shot on goal from Wells. Lauren Spiegel, in goal for the Express, had 11 saves but unfortunately, the Express would fall on the road by a score of 20-0.
