Express Take Down The Giants At Home

Tuesday afternoon brought the second home game of the season for the Express women's lacrosse team. 

In their last game, the Express traveled to St Mary's of Maryland and struggled on offense. That was not the case for wells College this afternoon.

It took less than a minute for the Express to take a lead when Clara Lima found the back of the net and boosted the express to a 1-0 advantage. Later in the first Lima would score again and the Express would take a 2-1 lead into the second quarter. Lima would go on to score two more times in the second quarter assisted by Rowell and Powers. The Giants would do their best to keep up but the Express would still carry a 4-2 lead into halftime. In the third quarter, Isabella Ciancio and Mackenzie Powers would get in on the scoring for Wells College the Express build a 7-3 lead going into the 4th quarter. Julia Barnwell would score her second goal of the season late in the fourth to secure the 9-5 victory at home for the Express.
