Express Women's lacrosse takes on potsdam

On Tuesday afternoon the SUNY Potsdam Bears came to town to take on the Express in an afternoon Women's Lacrosse match-up.

The Express was coming off a weekend where they played two road games defeating La Roche but falling at Mount Aloysius. 

This one did not go the way of the Express right off the bat as the visiting Bears jumped out to a 4 goal lead in the first 5 minutes of play. The Express were able to generate some shot opportunities but were stymied until 11 minutes into the second quarter when Clara Lima got the Express on the board. Going into halftime, Wells College found itself down by a score of 13-2. Clara Lima was able to find the back of the net two more times while Lydia Thomas also go in on the scoring for the Express. The Bears were slowed down offensively in the second half in part to 11 saves from Lauren Spiegel. The Bears would take this one, however, 19-4.
