Moehringer named Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Information
Director of Athletics and Physical Education, Mike Lindberg is pleased to announce that
Cory Moehringer has been named as the Assistant Athletic Director- Sports Information and Athletics Communications. Moehringer, who begins his new role with Wells College on October 18th, will be responsible for management of Wells College Express website, social media pages, game recaps, press releases, game programs, and all streaming or video content. He will also play a key role in gameday operations and communications initiatives with the United East Conference and the NCAA.
Cory Moehringer comes to Wells College after a 4-year tenure at Bryant & Stratton College of Syracuse. He started as an admissions representative until April 2019 when he became the first sports information coordinator in college history. Some of his responsibilities included managing the athletic website, social medias, game day operations, statistical reporting, enrolling student athletes and general athletic operations. Moehringer played a key role in the expansion of the Bryant & Stratton College Bobcats Athletics department by utilizing social media, relationships, and recruiting, to grow the overall enrollment of student-athletes. Moehringer also frequently collaborated with other departments to create an exceptional experience for student athletes.

Moehringer is a 2014 graduate of SUNY Brockport with a dual degree in Exercise Science and Kinesiology. In his spare time, Moehringer has been the head coach for a CYO Varsity Basketball team for 5 years at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Baldwinsville, NY.
