Wells Express Athletes of the Week 11/10

Congratulations to this weeks Athletes of the Week Feleesha Jones and Jarek Feliz!

Feleesha was selected this week based on her performance over the weekend at Alfred State vs Franciscan University. In two events she competed in Feleesha broke a personal best record as well as a season best record! Way to go Feleesha!

Feleesha comes to Wells College from Union City New Jersey. She is studying environmental science and sustainability and is in her junior year here at Wells. "Feleesah continues to improve every practice and every meet. I look forward to what comes next for her." Coach Patricia George.

Jarek was selected this week based on his performance Monday night in the men's basketball teams first win of the season at Cazenovia College. Jarek finished the game with 24 points on 10 of 13 shooting from the field. He also had 4 steals with a few of them coming at key moments in the game. Great job Jarek!

Jarek comes to Wells College from Manhattan New York. He is in his sophomore season at Wells College studying psychology. "Not only was he our leading scorer on an efficient shooting night but he also had some major stops with steals and deflections on the defensive end to help us seal the victory." Coach Joe Wojtylko.
