Wells Express Athletes of The Week 1/26
Congratulations to this week's Athletes of the Week Hailey Onofre and Kevin Reilly!
Hailey was selected this week based on her performance last weekend at Cazenovia College. She finished 1st place in the 50 FR (season-best time), and the 100 BR (season-best time). Also took 2nd place in the 100 IM (personal best time by about 2 seconds). She was also part of the 200 Free relays that took first place. She was nominated by his coach Patricia George. Hailey is a Junior on the Swim team for Wells! This is Hailey's second time winning Athlete of The Week!
Kevin was selected this week based on his performance last weekend at Cazenovia College. He took 3rd place in the 100 FR (personal best time by 3 seconds) and took 1st place in the 200 FR (1st time swimming this event). He was nominated by his coach Patricia George. Kevin is a first-year athlete at Wells and comes to us from Romulus, NY. This is Kevin's first time winning Athlete of The Week!
