Men's Soccer shows support with Holding Onto Hope
Men's soccer hosted Penn-St Abington on Saturday October 23rd.
Before the game you could see our team wearing white t-shirts that on the front sported the logo for Holding Onto Hope. Holding Onto Hope is a nonprofit that helps families and individuals impacted by cancer in the Finger Lakes area. Holding Onto Hope was founded in 2014 by Angela McIntyre who is a Lymphoma survivor. (Seen above in the team picture).
On the back of the teams shirts was a name of who they would be playing for that day. The names consisted of people who had a significant impact on our players lives who have also battled cancer. This served as a small reminder to our players, fans, and community, to always hold onto hope no matter what. Also, that some things are bigger than Soccer.
